The Railway Magazine launches ‘County’ 4-4-0 project

IT’S official – the Churchward County Trust (CCT) project to re-create a ‘County’ 4-4-0 has been launched through the pages of The Railway Magazine’s February 2018 issue.

A news story announcing the scheme is followed by a six-page feature by Project Leader Gary Boyd-Hope, which outlines the origins of the project from the Great Western Society’s signing of the ‘Three Counties Agreement’ in 2005, and explains how the proposal evolved in time to be taken over by the CCT. We even made the front cover!
