Front end assembly 85% funded

With the cylinders getting near to completion and the other components that form the front end of the locomotive being accumulated at CMS, we have asked CMS to quote for the production of all the ancillary parts that need to be produced to form a kit of parts for the assembly of the front end. This includes numerous bolts, nuts, drain pipes, studs, etc. These are all part of the Front End appeal which is currently 85% funded with just over £5,000 still outstanding out of the £35,000 we need to raise. The bogie pivot pin has been completed and is ready to be assembled as part of the front end assembly before being sent to Tyesley Locomotive Works. The appeal for the production of this item is still open with the appeal being 33% of the way there to raising the £12,180 that the pin cost.
