Can you help our 100 Hundreds Appeal reach its target?

 

Our 100 Hundreds Appeal is aiming to raise the £10,000 required to carry out the milling and drilling of ‘County of Montgomery’s’ main frame plates by recruiting one hundred individuals to each donate £100. In recognition of their support, appeal donors receive an A4-sized mounted print of No. 3840 by railway artist Jonathan Clay, together with a year’s complimentary membership of the CCT.

The machining of the frame plates will enable work to commence on the erection of the frames at Tyseley sooner rather than later, especially with the remaining frame plates and cross members now on order. Our goal is to have the main frames in one piece later this year, but we can only achieve this if the two 22ft-long main frames are drilled and ready for assembly.
