Cylinder Update 20th October

We have had something of a set back in that the contractor who was to machine the cylinders and extension frames has decided to close his business and retire. The last few months have been spent sorting out replacement contractors. The one who can do the cylinders can’t do the extension frames so we are talking to two. Progress on turning the original GW drawings from 1910/11 is progressing well and our CAD expert is being VERY thorough. We have now located the drawings for the valve liners via the GWS Saint project as the County and Saint drawings have many common features. The drawing relates to the earlier version of the Counties.
