3840 takes another ‘step’ forward

The Churchward County Trust would like to thank Ryan Pope of West Somerset Restoration for donating a newly-manufactured smokebox foot step to the 3840 project. While only a small component, the step is another part of the loco jigsaw that we can tick of the ‘to make’ list.
The photos here show Ryan with the step, while the second shows where the step will be fitted, as modelled by No. 3823 County of Carnarvon.
