Coupling and Connecting rods forged

We are pleased to announce that we have made the next stage in the build of 3840 by having the coupling and connecting rods forged from billet we had already acquired 2 years ago. We are now half way through the manufacture of these items with the machining of them remaining. We intend to raise an appeal for this work later in the year but in the meantime the forgings are going to have a nice rest in the sun down in the west country.
